Healthy Families Nebraska Heartland

Healthy Families America (HFA) is one of the leading family support and evidence-based home visiting programs in the United States. We believe early, nurturing relationships are the foundation for healthy development. Healthy Families Nebraska Heartland is a local affiliate covering the South Heartland District residents

Our team of Parent Coaches (home visitors) and Nurses work one-on-one with families to support them in raising healthy, bright children who are well prepared to face life challenges. We provide free, in-home assistance to pregnant parents or parents with newborns, graduating program around age 3.
Participating parents develop skills and confidence through education and coaching, so they know they are doing their absolute best to raise successful children. Benefits include stronger parent-child bonds, child development knowledge, reduced stress, linkage to medical care, and access to community resources.
