Nebraska Antique Airplane Preservation Inc.

We were organized in 2021 exclusively for charitable, and educational purposes to operate and maintain antique aircraft for educational purposes and utilize these aircraft for educational events.

Nebraska Antique Airplane Preservation Inc. (NAAPI) has various aircraft housed at Hastings municipal airport in the big antique hanger and display these aircraft at events which include the monthly hamburger feed every last Saturday of the month by the NE Chapter of the Antique Airplane Association. Viewing of the antique hanger and the aircraft can also be arranged to anyone and transient public at other times.  Some aircraft are display only, however many are kept in current annual and flown regularly for all to experience and possibly get an exhilarating chance to fly or ride in one!  An example is our Aeronca Champ which is the only tail dragger airplane available in the state of Nebraska available for instruction, endorsement seeking, and solo rent.  We have lost count of the people who have experienced a ride in the aircraft we have available.

Aircraft on display at Hasting's Antique hanger include some that you will not see anywhere else, these may include but are not limited to: 1928 Lincoln Page, Lincoln Aero Sport, T6 Texan, Meyers OTW, Stearman, Cub, or who knows what you may see. And to see these iconic aircraft of aviation history in the context of the old antique hanger of Hastings Airport is incredible!
