Our mission at Catholic Social Services is to perform the Works of Mercy in response to the Call of God. Through our Open Table Sack Lunch program, we're feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, and nourishing Hope in the Good Life for our Hastings/Adams County neighbors who need a hand-up.

Our vision is to inspire hope and love in every encounter, and our team of loyal volunteers partners with us to prepare our lunches, greet our clients, and provide a meal while upholding their dignity.

OPEN TABLE SACK LUNCH PROGRAM:

Our Open Table Sack Lunch Program prepares and distributes sack lunches daily from our office, ensuring anyone in need has access to a meal. New this year, we are also offering a hot meal once per week to provide additional nourishment and comfort.

We welcome every guest, no questions asked, into our new office space to find relief from the elements, enjoy a cup of coffee, and share companionship with others.

Last year alone, more than 31,500 sack lunches were distributed to individuals experiencing homelessness and the working poor in our community.
