For 40 years, Crossroads has been meeting the needs of the homeless in Central Nebraska. Our shelters in Grand Island, Kearney, and Hastings provide comprehensive care in a positive, nurturing, and educational environment. Services include safe shelter, hot meals, life skills classes, and case management that helps guests gain employment, financial independence, and stable housing. Our 4-Phase Recovery program and personalized case management, along with transitional housing, equip our guests for successful living after their time at Crossroads and lead to homelessness prevention. In 2023, Crossroads Mission Avenue provided 27,073 nights of stay and 81,219 meals to the homeless in Hastings, and over 1,400 food boxes for our needy Adams County neighbors! We couldn't do it without the faithful support of the Hastings Community!
