Hastings Catholic Schools Foundation

Hastings Catholic Schools is a school community where students encounter Christ, grow in knowledge, and become Christian witnesses. This mission is achieved by promoting excellence in education, spiritual, academic, and extracurricular.

For the 6th year in a row, all Give Hastings Day donations for Hastings Catholic Schools will support our Fine Arts Program. Fine Arts plays an important role in each of our student’s educational experience at HCS. From the littlest of preschool students in music class all the way to the graduating seniors that performed in our Matilda Musical in April. 

At Hastings Catholic Schools, we offer an educational experience where students encounter Christ, grow in knowledge, and become Christian witnesses of the truth of the Gospel. Jesus said to the apostles, "Let the little children come to me." These words of The Master Teacher and Savior propel us in the mission of the Catholic Church to assist parents in their responsibility as primary educators in the ways of faith. For over 100 years the bishops and priests, accompanied by the unequaled sacrifices of the religious sisters and the lay faithful men and women of our parishes of St. Cecilia and St. Michael have met the mission and challenge of Christ to play a part in bringing thousands of children to Christ, our Light.

Impacts from Hastings Catholic Schools:
- St. Michael Elementary and St. Cecilia Middle/High School host the House System program which brings together students from various grades in nine distinct houses to learn virtues together through lessons promoting Catholic family values
- St. Michael's religious formation includes preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation
- The Class of 2025 graduated 25 seniors
