Libraries are more than books and quiet places to study. At HPL, one of our goals is to inspire a love of reading and learning through fun and engaging programs. But not just for kids! Whether you're a teen, adult, or senior, all ages deserve to have programs that allow you to meet others that share your interests, learn something new, or do something fun that helps reduce stress. We heard your responses to the community survey, and we want to enhance and elevate our programs to meet your needs.

Did you know that programs offered at the library are funded from the Hastings Library Foundation, and don't come from our yearly city budget? The Foundation is built and sustained by generous donations, which are given to the Library to give back to the public with free, exciting programs available to everyone. By donating on Give Hastings Day, you'll be helping support existing programs and start new ones.
