Blue Valley Cemetery Association

The mission of Blue Valley Cemetery is to provide a respectful place for the families of the deceased to visit and a place where we wish to honor all our Veterans.

South of the Little Blue River on Hwy 281, Blue Valley Cemetery was founded in 1872.  It is staffed by volunteers and maintained through your generous donations.

This year we would like to repair the gate columns for each of our entrances as they are starting to deteriorate.  The goal is to have them be repaired so that they can last another 100 years.

In addition, we also plan to remove two very large, old (~100 years), diseased Ash trees that are positioned above headstones.  They need to be removed before a wind storm drops them on the headstones and damages them.

Your previous generosity has allowed for the installation of a monument for Veterans, headstones for previously unmarked Veteran graves, and provided new American flags.
