Project Homeless Connect

A nonprofit organization

PHC² (previously Project Homeless Connect) is an all-volunteer program to help those who are struggling to maintain self sufficiency. We focus on one-on-one assistance with our vulnerable population. We are also provide items to multiple food pantries. In coordination with PR4L we provide holiday food for 14 families. We work through referrals from social service agencies and local churches in Adams, Clay, Nuckolls and Webster Counties

PHC2 has expanded to help with one time expenses to families struggling to making ends meet. With referral, we can assist with the purchase of essential medications, emergency food, diapers, hygiene items, and some work clothing/shoes.

Testimonials

Recently, in the wee hours of the morning, we had a family whose house was engulfed in flames. I contacted PHC as a committee member lived next to me. She was able to find temporary housing, provided emergency food to get the family through a couple days. They also collected/purchased clothing for the children and parents.

As a single mom with three children, I struggle on occasion. Most of the time I can make ends meet. But because I work two jobs I don't qualify for assistance. A couple times last year my kids got sick. I missed work and spent rent money on meds. PHC helped with food and part or my utilities. Thanks to their help we were quickly back to making ends meet.

Thanks for the tire. It was used but now I don't walk to work no more.
