The Zone After School Program

The Zone is a free After School Program providing a safe, fun, drug and alcohol-free environment for local middle school students. Students who attend The Zone can take advantage of our free dinner program, homework tutoring, arts and crafts, sports games, classes and lessons, academic enrichment opportunities, and community service learning projects.

Within The Zone are various clubs allowing students to explore their interests. These include the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) club; the arts and crafts club; the Teen Outreach Program (TOP); the bracelet making club; and the cooking club. Additionally, staff from the Hastings Public Library and enCourage stop by monthly to provide engagement activities.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:30 - 6:00 PM when Hastings Public Schools are in session

Dinner served 4:30 - 5:30 PM when Hastings Public Schools are in session

Open at 2:30 PM on Wednesdays for early dismissal!
